We put together a little guide for one day this weekend or next as Halloween comes closer. Grab someone fun and enjoy the last week of October.
Brunch at Zinc
580 Mateo Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013
Start your day with a satisfied tummy in the Arts District of Downtown LA at our favorite cafe, Zinc. Their food is delicious but the main reason we love it is the atmosphere. It is so airy and bright, definitely sit on the patio.
221 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012
Just a hop skip and a jump away from Zinc! Get inspired at The Broad, "LA's New Contemporary Art Museum." The building itself is incredible, and what's inside is even better. From Murakami to Lichtenstein to Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room, there's something for everyone.
Going to a pumpkin patch signifies that Fall has come, even though the weather may not seem so. Something about picking out a pumpkin makes us feel like little girls again, and I think it's good to not take yourself so seriously all the time. As we may not want to carve them like we would back in the day, now we can decorate our homes with them! This pumpkin patch is really cute and you may get lucky with some celebrity sightings.
After your adventure day at the museum and pumpkin patch, there's nothing better than chilling at home on your comfy couch, eating popcorn & Halloween candy, and watching a classic spooky movie that's more funny than spooky with a glass of wine in hand. It's assumed that all of this is to be done with good company of course!
