An update on our recent beauty loves. From treatments to makeup and makeup that also treats, we covered it all.
Let's beautify, babes!

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Closeup Lash Liner

This eyeliner is perfect for the smudgy Mary Kate & Ashley look. In Eleanor's words, "it almost makes it look like you have fake lashes on. My favorite for sure." Use it on your top waterline to thicken the appearance of your lashes and really define your eyes!

It was difficult to find a non-cheesy photo of this, so I'll just tell you about it instead. Amber had her first microdermabrasion treatment this week and she says she can really notice a difference in the smoothness of her skin as well as blackhead reduction. She says it is definitely something that she will continue to do monthly. And I must say her skin looks really good! Microdermabrasion is a procedure that exfoliates and removes the surface layer of dry, dead skin cells.

Here are some of the benefits of microdermabrasion:
  • Improve age spots and black heads.
  • Improve hyperpigmentation (patches of darkened skin).
  • Exfoliate your skin, resulting in a refreshed appearance.
  • Lessen the appearance of stretch marks.
  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Reduce or eliminate enlarged pores.
  • Treat acne and the scars left by acne.
Clinique Age Defense BB Cream

I think Clinique is often looked at as an old lady brand. It's one of those that you saw in your mom's makeup bag as a kid, and the sea foam green colored packaging doesn't really help either. Regardless, it happens to be one of my favorites. I've been using this one, night and day, for over five years now. I really like to try new foundations and tinted moisturizers, but I always come back to this because of its natural, perfect coverage. It lasts for hours on my oily skin and as a plus, it has SPF 30 as well as powerful anti-aging ingredients. Somehow, shade 3 works perfectly on me throughout all of the seasons!
