Woman have been marching through our cities for decades standing up for what they believe, and expressing their feelings and practicing 1st amendment rights. They have protested the right to vote, the right to work equally, the right to make a their own choices with their bodies… the list goes on….. Although some of these subjects are still somehow being debated this years march seems to be a bit different. This march is more then a Woman’s protest they want to "send a bold message to our new administration on their first day in office, and to the world that women's rights are human rights," it is a march to band together man, or woman to show that we are a force, to bring awareness and inspire people to do more. The march is not an anti- Trump march, it is a pro woman march. It is a march to bring together all of the communities that have been hurt through the election cycle and walk as equals. We have come a long way because of woman being involved, and for the woman that fought so hard for me I will march for them!
