When restaurant hunting it's always fun to think you found a new little gem, or a neighborhood haunt. This week I am going to feature my two favorite Asian inspired places that we are willing to hop on the ten in LA traffic just to indulge in.
First one is Baroo. We were recommended this place by a friend who says it is their favorite place for lunch. Tucked away in a small strip mall with no signage this east Hollywood restaurant lived up to our expectations. They have about 9 options on their menu a simplicity that I have always loved. We ordered the Bimbim Salad, Asian fever and Baroo style hand made ragu style pasta. Everything was so light, flavorful and beautifully presented.@baroo_LA

My second one is no stranger to critics attention. With two locations and the talks of number three Night + Market Song is a Thai food loving hipster paradise. From the bright pink walls to the random Christmas lights this place hits my sweet spot on decor. Now lets talk food. I love Thai food, I love Thai food that seems healthy, I love the creativity and spice on this menu that I am sure you will love too.@ntmrkt
